The Last Roaring Months of Summer..
Well i see its been awhile again since i've been on here, but im rarely even ever on my computer anymore. I've just uploaded and attached a few recent photos form all the weddings or at least a few from the last few events that have taken place. Mostly of my brotehrs wedding. It was lovely to have everyone back intown again and GREAT to see all the family and have everyone together in one place - finally after so many years. Life's been totally crazy, but as the summer months fade, and winter rolls back in. Life will start to slow down a little bit between now and having to pick up the pace again come Christmas time and January. I Just figured since i have the chance now and was enable to sleep I'd post a few pictures and just say a quick hello. I've added a few of my fav. shots, and i will add a few more as i get them loaded up. Enjoy. Cheer for now

My First Big Buy....
So I will admit I was a little bit more lucky than my brother's when I was in High School. I didn't have to pay for my car that I got when I turned 16, Although I did pay for the repairs, insurance, gas, and everything that comes with having a car. Gave me some responsibility and something to work for. It was great when I turned 16 finally being able to drive, and go wherever I wanted WHENEVER and not having to rely on my Dad for rides, considering we lived so far out of town. It was freedom at last. I kept my old '88 Grandprix all through High School, took her off the road when the winter weather turned bad, and just rode the school bus. When I moved away to school in September of '05 I again let the insurance run off my car. I didn't see the need for needing my car when I was at school. Cranbrook wasn't THAT big. In the spring while being home on my Practicum I insured my car once again and had my freedom. Drove back to Cranbrook to have it there for the last few weeks of school. It was kind of nice having a vechile. After a long year full of laughs, stress, sweat, blood, tears, and a whole lot of memories I moved back to Nelson for the Summer. Or So I thought. It wasn't the best summer I ever had. Missed my best friend who'd travelled on to Edmonton, had the tonsilectomy from hell, spent many days and too much time in the hospital and bed, ex boyfriend back intown, the list goes on. Life was hell, and working back at Safeway was only added stress til I quit on July 26th!!!!! (Best day of my life!) It was a good feeling yet I was afraid of what was to follow. I had had an interview at a local Dental Office intown and had my finger crossed and prayed that I'd get the job. Turned out the following morning I got my call and Congratulated and welcomed to the Team with open arms. I've been working there now for 6 months. Times flies when you are having fun. For the past few months since I got my job my Dad and I have been keeping our eyes open for a new car. My old Betsy has seen better days, she was starting to bite the dust, and cost me lots of money. One day as we were sitting in the lunchroom one of my co-workers was looking through the Pennywise and pointed out a Honda Civic. It was pretty nice, and good deal. So I shared the news with my Dad and on the Morning of Dec 1st he woke me up and we went looking. With the descision in my mind that i was not going to spend ANY money on myself until Christmas was over (due to the lack of xmas gifts I had with Christmas being only 2 weeks away..) I didn't think of buying anything. Until I got to the dealership. I was a suck. Fell for it, and bought it that day. I was extatic. My FIRST BIG BUY! However, since it was a 5spd. I left the test driving to my Dad. I didn't drive my car until just last week!!! When I finally insured it and put it on the road. It sat nicely under the shop for a good 2 months. But it was time and I was ready to face the challenge of learning how to drive it. It's been a learning experience and like Nelson tells me "its an art!" but once you figure it out, you'll love it. I know I haven't got it figured out perfectly yet, but it's coming and it's SO much fun, and under all the fear of having to learn how to drive........ I love it. Here's To My New Car!!!
